Pain resides in all of us;
for this reason we all relate
As i look in the mirror, i cannot help but notice the terror;
look deep into my eyes ,see it calculate,trying to rationalize that which is irrational;
The illogical phenomena that is pain

I thought i had pain till i looked deep into the eyes of another. Reality stricken ,as though struck by the flashing thunders of the heavens, I see truth.
As i look in her eyes i see my pain shrivel, wilting and drying up

I thought i had pain ,but hers is the true definition of pain.
In her mind and heart , there lies the confirmation.
Day by day her dedication slips away, her will shrivels.
I hold her in my arms promising everything will be okay ; Empty words that non can affirm .

I thought i knew pain but this is different;
As i watch her close her eyes and cry herself to sleep, the terrible flashes of reality remind me, as bright as the morning star they remind me how helpless i am ;
Powerless against the sheer power of hurt unleashed.

I wished i could turn back time,
Run it back to the day he knocked on her door. Convince him to leave or tame him at best;
All my efforts in vain
For on the day she let him in ,he must have gotten comfortable and settled in.
So now its either sit back and let him win, or take him back outside but i never can

I thought i had pain till the day true pain looked me in the eye
