Suppression
I came out to seek and to seize
It turns out I shall bleed to please
Like a water to prosper the trees
Whereas my passion to cease
I believe in the fantasies of empathy
Yet as I knew it, it led me to misery
As it's just me, compared to nobody
How shall I express my ability?
I can lead to point the right path
I can act like I knew the aftermath
But why do I crumble as I sat
Where I still sit, and where I rot
I can speak the words of encouragement
I can form treaties of commitment
I can pretend the deeds of the confident
Yet why do I feel the bitterness of the moment?
