LOCKED DOORS
The dark house has a mystery room,
It's an enigma with a locked door,
It is said to hold everyone's doom,
And that's a stranger's lore.
Thousands have gone there,
But only a few have returned,
Rest are trapped in a conundrum lair,
Maybe waiting for their repatriation.
Their families are holding on to the hope,
The hopes that may never be met,
But they can't relinquish their last scope,
To have them back even if it's too late.
Everyone is curious to know what's behind,
what is that no body is able to escape,
Let me tell you; it's feelings of a scary kind,
that encourages you to commit the mistake.
You walk down that miserable path,
when you start to get depressed,
May be you are suffering the fate's wrath,
As your dark feelings feel impressed.
You have now lost yourself in you,
And then you loose control of your mind,
As the storm starts to brew,
Your feelings turn into a crazy kind.
Your breathing becomes difficult,
Your head gives a hasty spin,
There are no more feelings to consult,
As you bow down to let your end win.
You start to feel the pressure,
The rope suffocates you and stings your neck,
It gives you pain for a good measure,
Before you find your lifeline break.
Suddenly there is a loud clang,
And the door breaks open,
Then my heart gives a sharp pang,
As I see my family looking heart broken.
A coward runs away from his struggles
Am I a coward?
I know the answer but still I am shocked
Running away from my obstacles
Was my only thought in which I was locked.
I ward off my pessimistic thoughts,
And try to smile for my saviours,
They are the rain to my droughts,
And I feel a small rising hope inside me that wavers.
But let me warn you not to travel down the dark,
And try your best to fight your thoughts to the core,
For your goodness and bravery to embark,
And protect oneself from opening the locked door.
Now as I look at my dear ones,
Their eyes shining with love and hope,
I feel everything is going to be alright for once,
And I know I can learn again to cope.
I think of starting a new beginning,
And bid my depressions good bye,
Because this is the story of my past which I am ending,
And now I am sure to leave it behind as I look at the bright blue sky.
