The days too eventually fell silent,
No sounds, not even by the crows,
All you could hear was the sound of,
Fear knocking on the doors,
Panic on the hallways,
Angst on the television,
Dread on the newspaper,
Distress all over social media,
Grumble on the streets,
Agitation on the people.

Trembling while walking,
Anxious while sleeping,
Like a tireless tire going around,
Everyone was confused,
We doubt the people around us,
We betray our own families for our own sake,
We protest on the kind of government we have,
We are voracious for power,
We'd like to bring everyone down.

We are slothful, a good for nothing sloth,
A lifeless, incompetent being,
All because we don't see our purpose,
We haven't figured out our actions,
Because hope was gone,
Doubts have filled our hearts,
Fear has overwhelmed us,
But there is still light.

Follow through the light,
Bewildered by it's rays,
Astonished by it's beauty,
Cleansed from the inside,
This light made it through,
Touched our hearts,
Calmed the chaos,
And purposely directed us.

Light has brought peace,
Though the storm hasn't passed yet,
There is now aspiration,
Yearning for everyone to see,
The motivation to impose a plan,
The urge to plan a desire,
The desire to be implemented.

Today is different,
We have everyone back on track,
Realized which one is right and not,
Someone must have pulled the trigger,
The prompt to be a good Samaritan,
To help a fellow in need,
It begins now, yes, now.

The heart must have ached because of dying,
Let those who die not die in vain,
Let's fight for one purpose,
To be one, one in all.
We have found the light,
Let the light govern our plead.

Let the light grow within us,
Let it direct our ways,
Let it motivate our life,
Let Him carry your burdens,
Let Him, just let Him.

He is God, the one that we need in this battle.
For the battle is not ours, but of God.
Don't be afraid for He will never forsake you,
God has calmed the storm.

God is our refuge,
Even through valley of death,
God fear no evil.

Soar like an eagle and spread His wings to shield you,
God defeated the dark and we'll be victorious.

Seek God because He is the only way, to preserve life.
