Emotions running wild as these thoughts consume my soul,
silence surrounds me as I'm falling further into this cold, dark hole.
I'm begging for you to save me but still my screams you cannot hear;
fearing demons from my past has caused you to disappear.

How did I end up in this sea of worry & constant doubt,
after you promised I could trust you, your love I'd never be without.
but, as soon as I pushed past my fears giving you every part of me;
you in return took the best parts of you never giving them back to me.

Yet, I'm still reaching, holding on to each & every word you've spoken
terrified of being trapped in this void, unworthy & hopelessly broken.
I'm so afraid these demons have taken the only love I ever knew;
but, how if your love compared to the depths of my love for you.
