Lost in time,
Weaved with memories,
It was but an old house
That is what it was, and what it always will be.
But seeing the ceiling caved in, walls covered in moss and windows broken by the howling wind and freezing bit that came with it.
Why was this so hard?
He wasn't even meant to be there,
Staring at the dust covers steps, the roots of a willow tree cracking most of the path into dust.
He wasn't meant to be anywhere near here.
He wasn't meant to see this,
He wasn't meant to be lost in time
His veins weaved with memories of this old vacant home.
He was never meant to be here, he was meant to die here.
But he did not.
And now he is here.
And here to stay
Lost in time.
Forever more.
