The Unseen Battle
Darkness fell, and I felt death's grip tight
But life won out, and I emerged into the light
I once thought those who struggled were weak
But now I see their bravery, their hearts that seek
They fight battles we can't see
Their scars are hidden, but still they cry out to be free
Some search for solace, some give up the fight
But the worst fate is being alone, without a guiding light
In the silence, a cry echoes, a plea to be heard
A soul searching for hope, a word to hold on to, a lifeline to cling to
A word of comfort, a gentle embrace
To lead them through the darkness, to a safer place
Where love and compassion reign, and hearts can heal
And the brave warriors who fought can finally find peace, and their journey's end.
