The King and Queen laying roses in my way,
Removing all the thorns & things that dismay
So I can walk freely with head held high.
While I faced the warmth, they, 'the heat.'
Brought up to be an independent spirit
To do things as I please & CHOOSE
To say 'YES & No,' my exclusive rights
To raise voice ; not to bow down to injustice
For I was raised to be a Queen to rule
Unlike prince charmings' entitled to rule
I was born, raised to shape my destiny
To establish my selfworth as a prospective,
People's Queen to address the needs
Of my kingdom, My people."
