Today Is All I Have
Right in the uterus of the earth,
I cried like a whipped slave,
For I was coming into a world of BETRAYAL,
But how could I know
Even thou I was a baby?
My reader, I was born with a HALO,
That had been my secret weapon,
The mighty ocean is a large piece of
Land; Oh, what a lie!
What you see today is a mirage.
The angels are crying,
And my soul is sobbing,
Too much pain, too much regrets,
RAZORS in my heart.
Everyday, the cut goes deeper.
Being called a liar, a deceiver, and a thief,
But for the wrong things; who is free from these?
And even now they will call this work names
Even when I write about MYSELF.
It hurts them; What a world!
Yesterday is a mole,
Today can't be STOLEN away from me,
I'm done, mind made up, mind reseted,
So I'm writing as a brand new pen,
I left my bag of grave clothes behind me.
Imperfect being, yet perfect,
No longer a goat, dead beast,
A brand new START,
I'm now a phoenix,
New born, new age.
Time heals faster,
But LOVE heals better.
This is my road with or without you,
I came out of the oven alone,
Nobody will hold me down.
Today is all I have,
Christ til I reach the GRAVE,
The red cup on the ground is green,
Mankind is okay with lies but I choose
To be different, a new age begins.
It is too much to ASK?
BE YOU, I'M ME.
