The flow of ink runs in my veins
Mixed in my blood red & black
You kept my demons at bay
Set my heart free like a shooting star
Burning before disappearing through the vast sky

Hug me in summer from my frozen mind
Melt my insecurities within your hands
My last words are written in your eyes
A book of everlasting unspoken hymns

Ring me in my dreams -- chase away my screams
A riverbed of spelled mirrors
Cutting away my lost whispers
Your touch calm my flames
Scattering high my pains

Love me in Midnight's rain
Where the world sleeps in smokey cloak
And all our unseen tears soak
