My brother's garden.
My brother has a lovely garden,
In which my lovely friends lie
A lush carpet of Hydrangeas
Prominent Lillies nodding their petals
Attractive Red Roses smiling their beauty
I call it a garden of hope and purity
For in it my heart is taken captive.
My thoughts erased for a moment
While I take in the dazzling splendor
As we need occupy till he comes.
So I walk over to the Daisies,
Right before I reach the Dahlias
But Jasmine is so attractive,
I stop to feel it woo me
As Carmelia keeps watching.
I smile as i touch Amaryllis
Ignoring Aster the showy white
Pasty is heaving with scent
I'll reach out to Lavender instead
Take them home with the Hibiscus,
After a little chat with Marigold.
As I step out of this garden
I feel a fair refinement
From my drained and cranky grey
To an expressive shining mellow
Oh, I will keep coming for more.
