To all the times the rain has come
when I would rather see the sun
To all the times at home I stayed
when 'tap tap' the rain I blamed

I wish I hadn't been such a selfish kid
and on that star made a stupid wish

'rain rain go away
and forever stay away'


Alas no bright star can I find
When my wish I want undone
How I wish I hadn't been blind
To want and hope for only the sun
