why does the month thats suppose to be jolly
feels dried up sad and lonely
I'm not even talking bout gifts please that's nothing
Cause we giving and getting gifts mostly for bluffing
Who gave the most expensive who gave the prettiest
And the faces you get when you turn up with nothing, the stares the emptiness
Are they really happy to see you?

I miss the days when true love and support was effort less
