i’m not a poet
i can’t make connections with the earth
and my thoughts
i’m not even sure what my thoughts are,
am i sad or am i happy?
nothing
i am nothing
i feel nothing
my thoughts are running through
my mind like a -
i don’t notice things,
i don’t have a creative mind like that
except people say i could,
and i do love to write
it’s just that
