Seventy-eight years have passed by,
Since we won our freedom, reaching the sky,
From peaceful marches to battles we fought,
For a new dawn, and the freedom we sought.

Our flag waves high, telling a story,
Of brave heroes and their lasting glory,
Gandhi’s courage, Nehru’s dream,
Ambedkar’s wisdom, a shining beam.

From the mountains tall to the southern seas,
In every heart, there’s pride and peace,
For unity, for dreams so bright,
In our shared hope, we find our light.

We’ve faced challenges, and we’ve stood strong,
But our journey ahead is still long,
For justice, for equality, for every voice,
In our democracy, we make our choice.

We stand together, through joy and pain,
Through every struggle, through sun and rain,
A strong nation, with love in hand,
In our freedom, united we stand.

So let’s promise, on this special day,
To keep walking the path of freedom’s way,
For India’s future, hand in hand,
Together, we will always stand.
