LUNA'S CALL
The nights silence is deafening.
Once again here I am wondering.
In the corner of this tiny room,
I call my saviour, my home.
Luna keeps calling my name.
As I stare through the flames.
I wonder what it wants from me.
Was it something I long to see?
I hate to go outside, alone.
Even if the road is lit by the moon.
I haven't step in its pavement.
Though I always wonder where it leads.
I was a girl who was always scared.
My heart is scarred, my face is feared.
My mother said I was beautiful.
But the world, the world is cruel.
Beauty for some is only physical.
They don't care about the one inside.
I wonder if someone out there will love me.
Just the way I am.
