wide-eyed dreams
tongue tied at the seams
we held hands for a moment
"this can't last forever, but in my memories won't it?"
we said goodbye the next day
as he went on to catch his next prey
i think i fell in love the day he walked away
yet he fell out of adoration the second i wasn't okay.
