sometimes I imagine
what if we believed in everything we hear
and the things that we now let go
stayed with us each year

but then sometimes I imagine
what if we ignored everything they say
and make all our decisions
in our nonchalant way

but I end up believing in some things
and there are others which I ignore
and maybe what defines me
are the things that I fall for...
