As the rain falls, it echoes the sound of my heart.
The calm before the storm, tears enough to mop the floor.
This pain inside overwhelms me, a suffocating squeeze.
I just want to have your arms around me.

A frozen heart kept in the snow.
I am lost, not sure where this road will go…
Reaching out into the darkness, my eyes blind with fright.

The empty room the soft echoing cries.
Tears streaming down my cheeks, I beg for mercy…
This pain cuts through my soul shredding it into nothing more.
Living for life under the moons light, shadowed by the pain of uncertainty.
I spread my broken wings and hope one day I will fly again.
