Taking A Break?
My Heart is heavy, I can't rest;
I want to take a break
My body pangs in pain
You wonder why, I guess!
Woe to him who rests when to reap;
Woe to him who sleeps when to savour for souls;
Woe to him who lingers when to labour;
Woe to him who sits when to stand in Prayer!
Don't look too far,
The Father's business is right in front of you;
The sea of hades gulping souls by second,
Darkness thriving, building its tents in dozens;
Corners of human habitation are its beautified beasts,
In their hands, one with Adam's apple,
Other the sting of death.
Every believer in Christ are on the labour field, in the market place. This piece seeks to create the awareness of our need to continue on the field of harvest and not give ourselves rest, because the devil our adversary is not resting at all.
