Whether Little Johnny will Win or loose
Mr Chips challenged Little Johnny to perform a task. He had to shoot an arrow across the hall. If he could hit the apple with the arrow, he would get vanilla ice cream. If he failed, he would have to help Mr Chips clean the apple orchard. Little Johnny pulled up his shirt and showed Mr Chips his muscles. 'So Little Johnny, what do you say?' asked
Mr Chips.
'Challenge accepted!' said Johnny.
Mary giggled. She didn't think Johnny was going to win the competition. Everyone is puzzled.
