Dead Silence
#WritcoPoemChallenge
#CoronaVirus
The days too eventually fell silent,
No sounds, not even by the crows.
All you could hear was the sound of
fear knocking on the doors.
The stillness rampaged the streets, battered the roads, and seemingly slaughtered the livelihood of our people.
I was encaged in my habitat, a wild animal I was, as I layed on my bed. The only thing that understood me.
It is incredible to think that a virus could cause this much disruption, this much chaos.
Wretched virus that turned me into a frightened beast.
I am much thankful for being healthy, as I am now, but evil for doing nothing to help those in need.
