Proud Green
I saw them standing nobly and dignified
How proud they looked in their green shirts
I head them whistle as the wind eddied
Around their well composed heights
And shook their trunks along the rhythm
I reached them in there home
And they blew life into my lungs
Their spills enriched the loam
And on their branches grew sweet fruits
That filled my hungry belly
Their loveliness
A gift from God
Their loveliness
Worth cherishing
