As everyday starts with sunrise,
Mine started with dreams,
Dreams that in a moment meant my freedom,
Well not until i met you,
The shadow that blocked my own light.

They say revenge is sweet but i found it bitter,
Let's start from the beginning of the story,
The times like when i was the queen protected by the two bishops,
Where my knight never left my castle,
But today i woke up blindfolded by your shadow.

My dreams told me i would survive,
But you came and destroyed them,
Days in, nights out,
I was your pawn,
You had it deep in you,
To destroy a soul bound with destiny,
But i know i had to learn,
Just that the pill became too hard to swallow,
Now im left stranded.

I had dreams that could uncuff me from my sins,
The sins that weigh too hard in my heart,
But you came and i added more to the fire,
I commited the greatest of all by trading my soul,
Now i cry about the past as i stand by the door of hell.

If only i listened instead of dwelling in the devil,
I would have found the way through my visions,
But i was stubborn and blind,
I blackmailed my own being with temporary happiness,
I forgot life was more than just a kill or a hug,
That those who kiss and tell never live the other day,
I convinced myself i was a starring in a horror movie of the voiceless,
I thought your presence would bring in my dreams to reality,
But you just happened to be a pain in the neck.

Time told me i was foolish,
I was walking over thorny edges of the fire,
I was dragging myself to the pit of hell without hesitation,
I cried and healed,
Now all left is for your shadow to retreat,
As you had won .
