My life is an open book,
That led me through every nook,
And every corner of discovery,
Of life's long journey....
Same as the earth,
Which is not the centre and moves,
Every influencing thought it grooves,
The world gave some women and men respect, love and even reluctant admiration because of their formidable abilities to connect with people,
Through their writing and their leadership, their exhortations and their discoveries, or even through their personal appeal, they ruled the hearts and minds of millions who found their lives profoundly affected - for better or for worse - by these
handmaidens of history,
When they spoke, therefore, their words went on to cement those relationships even more,
In the process they gave the course of world affairs - more momentous, some less than epochal - fresh twists. How?
By presenting a fresh and unconventional world view that forced people to think differently.
