Wishing Well
By the old banyan tree,
A well so deep,
Where dreams are tossed,
And secrets keep.

Coins glimmer bright,
As they sink below,
Each wish a whisper,
A silent glow.

Children gather round,
With laughter and cheer,
Hoping for magic,
In the water clear.

A prayer for love,
A wish for peace,
In the heart of the well,
All worries cease.

Time flows like water,
In circles it swirls,
Every wish sent up,
Like petals, it twirls.

So drop in your hopes,
Let them gently fall,
In the wishing well's depths,
There’s magic for all.
