Yesterday, I was close to a goal
Within reach, was a dream close to coming true
Today, I am put back two years or so
Fighting, trying to sew up the seams
I will resolve with all means
Was brought up to believe...
Life has given me powerful seeds
To grow, reach and believe
Not to know, what's around the next corner
Trust... Receive...Exceed expectations

Yesteryear, I thought perfect was mine
Going to visit an exotic country
Taste a flavor of divine
Beautiful ring, I desired was close to
My ring finger ony hand
Then I woke up...
Thoughts were of a fantasy...
Like a Wonderland..
Too trusting is weak..never again

Today, I take one step at a time
Trust in God is strong
He will guide me..
How to put things back in line
