Been a long time since I've been in the ring
but when it's time to fight, I'm still your King
twenty whole years since I've been far away
I'm relearning again and this time, I'll stay.
I trained in boxing and judo since I was a boy
yet I was stripped of things that gave me joy
it's been a long time since I found my voice
leaving boxing and judo wasn't even my choice.
