I remember counting sheep.
Had to look out of the window,
To let the wind take my sorrow.

Had to hide under the fabrics,
And listen to the clock as it ticks.

I wished for time to leap
To take my breath away,
And make my soul astray.

I gave the stars a glimpse of me.
I wasn't implying it was the last,
But the day's approaching fast.

Before I fell asleep,
I had to look back on what I did.
I had to do it everyday,
So when I wake up, I feel a little sane.
