In the quietest part of the night,
When you hover between dark and light,
Wondering if you can float away on dreams,
Hoping they won't turn into screams and nightmares that won't let you sleep
What do you see around,
Darkness or yourself
You want to shut everything down but end up waking up all those sleeping demons who were waiting to be unleashed
You try and try but end up getting more tired than before
There is heaviness in your chest but you don't even know what it is
It slowly starts burning inside and you are wide awake staring at the nothingness around
There is a fire burning inside you where smoke is not unleashed but slowly darkening inside infecting every inch of you
You Wanna scream but cannot
You wanna cry but you don't have any courage left inside you
Now you believe this is you,
so you build an indestructible wall wishing to protect yourself
but you end up caging yourself inside invisible bars of your own
where lives a very lowly life secretly hoping to be alive.
