A NIGHT IN SEPTEMBER
The lights went out
A commotion roamed
Footsteps followed in the corridors
Nobody except her was in the house
Silence fell across the house
No whisper, no voice
Just dead silence
Whispers, voices, footsteps all at once came like an earthquake, shaking the house
The footsteps were closing in on her bedroom door
Whispers, voices followed suit
There was panic in the bedroom
Fear, worry filled every space in the bedroom
And there was a knock on the door
To her the knock meant one thing "rape"
At the opening of the door, she fainted
