I wonder
I wonder
where all those stars have gone.
I wonder
why the rain doesn't damp me anymore.
I wonder
why the petrichor doesn't smell the same.
I breathe and breathe deep
but it cannot take me there.
I find and find along
but it cannot come upon.
I wonder
why the sky doesn't look farther nowadays.
Why did they forget to float their boats;
those paper boats in the rivulets of muddy rainwater?
I wonder
why the sun doesn't lighten the world bright anymore.
I wonder
why the clouds have stopped to pour more.
Ah! I lost it behind,
all the days of peace.
I lost it behind,
all what I'd call my own.
I am left all by myself
with bones and no skin.
I wonder
how I've been taught to live without life.
I wonder
why my eyes cannot locate itself.
I wonder
why?
