Perhaps we'll begin to put down our phones
And even learn to talk.
Perhaps we'll appreciate the smaller things
A cup of tea with a friend, a sosial outing, a walk.

Perhaps we'll begin to embrace each other,
As if meeting anew.
Perhaps we'll learn to sacrifice
Some of "me" for a little bit of "you".

Perhaps we'll remember those who hid in years gone by...
