Postponing my apology
You stood so nice,
all prepared that night,

I was the one a bit late,
I wasn't maybe ready to date,

You were too full for my half,
How could I cope you to last?

I was an afraid fellow,
who wore every day yellow,
someone who wanted to make you smile,
for reasons that were benign,

But I fell short of promises,
at that very moment,
when you waited for me till it rained,
slipped from the slope in disdain,

Couldn't find you anywhere,
like God's been punishing me for little less care,
hoped day to night and vice versa,
that you'd return to forgive me fast,

But ages went by,
you didn't come to me,
I took the last breath
a few days after,
postponing my apology.
