Before swooning

falling down forever,
I want to reach
my nest for last time.

To rise like
A Phoenix
from the ashes,
A sentence
My debilitating mind
is failing to hold.

Fragmented feather,
tied mind,
truncated hope
can't even
allow me to fly
with despair wings.

Yes,
I am that bird
who wants to reach
the nest
for last time
to say last adieu
to my near ones.
