The sun shines through the sky
Signaling a new day
Telling you get out of bed
Go be on your way.
But as you open up your eyes
And look all around
It hits you with a jolt
Its time to live down.
It's another while
Hours stretch ahead
It'll be too long
Until your back to bed.
You wonder how you'll survive this day
If you'll handle the tears
Hours full of nothing
Night might be in years.
A whole day long of loneliness
Of struggling yourself
Of misery and bad mood
And no-one to tell.
With all this in your thoughts
You stretch, pick up your head
Cuz no matter how you feel
You still get out of bed.
