Let me step into the warmth of your arms,
Let me bask in the sunshine of your smile,
Let me hold you a moment longer, mother of mine.
My hero, my rock, my everything.

Everyone sees you shine,
even I.
Tears rolling down your desperate face was only mine to see.

In the deepest part of my mind you are there.
With every dark night.


Just the moon and I, and
the impermanence of time.

You showed me love, pain.
Too much. too late.

Separation, my salvation.
The void unable to reinstate.

Your mistakes mean nothing
Your kind and sensitive nature meant everything.

So calm, so relaxed, prepared.
your organs may fail, you may be hidden underneath our feet.

Your love and pain were my greatest teachers.
How ever far apart I will carry you with me every breathe.
I grieve for your pain and grateful for your beautiful soul.

My greatest teacher with a saddened heart, my mom.

Always my only mom.
Your smile imprinted in the pocket of my mind.
