Blues
My Blues.
What is your plan for me?
Is misery, tribulation all you have for me?
I thought I was created a special being,
Look at what I have been through —
Help is the cry my heart sings.
I'm sure my melody is off key —
Bleeding your ears but please,
All I want is a little peace;
From these accumulating financial wars,
That Pierce my mind and nail me to the wall.
Am I included in your plan?
Am I not made for peace and fun?
I was told your plans for me are marvelous,
But here I am feeling like Lazarus;
Buried in the tomb of hopelessness,
I guess this is what you call goodness;
Dear God please forgive my pesky-ness,
But I need you to answer me this;
Do my misery give you...
What is your plan for me?
Is misery, tribulation all you have for me?
I thought I was created a special being,
Look at what I have been through —
Help is the cry my heart sings.
I'm sure my melody is off key —
Bleeding your ears but please,
All I want is a little peace;
From these accumulating financial wars,
That Pierce my mind and nail me to the wall.

Am I not made for peace and fun?

But here I am feeling like Lazarus;
Buried in the tomb of hopelessness,
I guess this is what you call goodness;
Dear God please forgive my pesky-ness,
But I need you to answer me this;
