she walks in sunlight

in the bright and shining day

when all is green and singing

when light shines her way


he looks from a wiser view

and sees where she is blind

her actions have consequences

that she can't easily leave behind


she thinks of him when its lovely

she wishes for him when its dark

he calls her home every day

that they are apart


she's deaf to his voice

to blinded by what she sees

he holds out a nail pierced hand

saying come home to me


he would forgive everything

if she only took his hand

but she can't see him waiting

she doesn't understand


she crys because she knows

somthing isnt right
