Do not lay me in a casket,
Let me rest in the cold, rough dirt,
And as the worms eat away my flesh,
The mud ruins my shirt.

Flowers may bloom from my corpse,
And my death gives way to life,
Let nature thrive its force,
It will live in my death’s spite.
