The Last Ember
He drops on the sandy field of a deathly bed,
A lost traveler of mighty descent,
Barged throat cracked him, no words to be said,
His strength, once great, now nearly spent.
The stars above, indifferent and cold,
Witness the fall of a legend bold.
His sword lies still, a lifeless weight,
As echoes of battles resound his fate.
But in his eyes, a flicker of flame,
A dying ember that whispers his name.
In his final breath, the silence is torn,
For heroes like him are never truly gone.
