Me and Her
In the midnight haze,
I hid behind the darkness.
I wore a black mask to hide,
The scars that were there during my lows and highs.

I looked behind to see if someone was there,
My gaze went towards the right and then to the left.
It felt as if there was a demon behind,
To brink back the past that I buried deep inside.

And then infront I saw my worst nightmare,
A figure filled with misery and despair,
Her red eyes shone in the dark night she owned,
Her gloves stained with blood, her heart made of stone.

The crown for which she killed herself,
The throne that changed her own life to hell,
Her beautiful eyes turned darker,
As the red moon rose to reach the stars scattered.

But then the dark eyes softened when they met mine,
The orbs that held power were covered with a strange fright,
The tears of pain rolled down her cheeks,
Covered with her scars hidden behind the fake grins.

A glimpse of the past that stayed at the back of her mind,
Suddenly came infront of her, alive,
It was her who was me once upon a time,
But I feared to be her this time.
