Halloween is upon us again
Carved faces lit by candle light
Watch out for the devil and demons 😈
They will give your heart a fright.

The night grows in so quickly
Children doing trick or treat
Eerie voices calling your name
Makes your heart suddenly miss a beat.

Witches flying on broomsticks
Lit pumpkins lighting the way
People wearing fancy dress
You decide to go out and play.

You might see bloodthirsty vampires
Or the image of a floating ghost
There might be a face in the mirror
Will it be you who screams the most?

The howling of a werewolves
Strange creatures appear in the street
A warming bowl of pumpkin soup 🍲
Is really such a welcome treat.

So whatever you're doing today
Enjoy this poem you have just seen
