If the midnight sun was nearly half as deadly as the species called men that stab already bleeding hearts and lie their way through tearing every remaining vein and artery,

I wouldn't fear the creatures that roamed the night or dread the unseen. I'd rather ran for dear life from the species called men that take pleasure in breaking hearts for sport.
