staring at my reflection
reflectin’
regrettin’
who I crawled into bed with
my head’s sick, my investment
left me infested
I have a confession
but no best friend
sold my soul
they kept the change
all systems go
my past erased
I don’t know this road
it’s one I have to take
this cycle has taken it’s toll
what’s left of me is about to break
I scream out as I bleed out
going senile, meanwhile
they’re kicking me down
suffered another beat down
these demons sweeped in
planted and with each stem
they’re hoping as I’m growing
I become like them
my heart has turned cold
smiling as the pain unfolds
sit back enjoy the show
dying slowing
while I erode.
