"Love Happens" as they say,
I felt it happening last May,
I saw her today,
She wore a pink saree to slay
A fragile doll of clay
It was my perfect day

Everynight i saw her in my dreams
She sat beside me for hours near streams,
We talked till Sun raised its beams,
My feelings for her were weighing extremes,

Reality hitted harder than i have thought,
She was already tied in the knot,
I was following her and i got caught,
Beaten,thrashed and even shot,
I couldn't even give her a gift i have brought,
She clapped and smirked that piereced me alot,
That was when I felt love creating a clot,
This was my story of unrequited love which i can never forgot,

I am becoming stronger everyday,
As i have learned to survive like a wounded prey,
But still i believe "Love Happens" as they say.
