Having to meet new people,
Gotta bring out the best,
Another annoying hurdle.
Socialisation is just like chess.

You tell them what they want to hear,
Suddenly your becoming closer,
Your pawn has moved one step nearer,
The way to get in their head is clearer.

You do not want friendship,
But you do not want to be alone,
So you avoid hardship,
And exchange phones.

All of a sudden your their pet,
Your stuck in a trance,
It feels like an act on a set,
You consider hardship at a glance.

They take you for granted like all the others,
Your self-esteem is decreasing,
You realise your only friend is your mother.
Now your heart is changing,
Infact it's screaming.

The phone is out,
Everyone is blocked,
Your happiness awaits you.
