Sun shining silently behind the rain
Only to give and nothing to gain
Daughter earth was happy to be born
green meadows and trees as she worn, Worth was her smile and cheerfulness
when the birds chirped and animals freely roamed
Short-lived was her joy and happiness, When the evolution of humans and their ego was allowed
As I write this to know what we had done
Only to know that this can't be undone
Rains, heatwaves, and erratic weather
All these are the return gifts from our mother
Social awareness, a pen and an idea on a paper
Can enlighten the whole crowd thereafter
Only to know that there is still hope and opportunity
To save our mother earth from this adversity…
