Poverty
Poverty.....
In corners dim, where dreams are veiled,
Poverty's grasp, so oft regaled.
A world of want,
where hunger's cry, Echoes in the silent sky.
Yet in this struggle,
hearts prevail,
A spirit strong,
a will unbowed and frail.
For though in need,
we find our worth,
In bonds of love,
we find our mirth.
From humble roots,
we grow and rise,
Defying odds,
we claim our prize.
For poverty,
though cruel and stark,
Can't dim the light,
within our heart.
