AS WE CAN SEE THE STARS
Each night we see the stars, still and bright,
Casting shadows to all who admire the light;
The stars come not, except for the sun to rest.
Some plead to get what others please to let;
Indeed, no man is satisfied with the things he gets.
Twenty-four-seven, we stay awake and chase
Our dreams as if we're in a hundred-meter race;
Regardless that we could pass on the baton
To the next generations to carry on.
As far as we can see the stars up high,
We need not travel miles to touch the sky;
For the stars shall surely send sweet smiles to us,
Even in the deepest part of the darkness.
